GRACELAND HARLEY-DAVIDSON OPENS

Southern Thunder Harley-Davidson has opened a permanent satellite location called Graceland Harley-Davidson in the heart of the Elvis After Dark plaza (formerly Graceland Crossing) in the visitor center complex across the street from Elvis Presley's Graceland Mansion. Southern Thunder Harley-Davidson is affiliated with Bruce Rossmeyer, one of the largest retail franchisees of Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

At the new store visitors find t-shirts, mugs, collectibles and other items that feature the Graceland Harley-Davidson logo. (Logo to be posted here soon.) The store is open daily, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Products with the Graceland Harley-Davidson logo should be available online soon.

In the months ahead, Southern Thunder Harley-Davidson will introduce the design of 30 limited edition Elvis Harley-Davidson motorcycles to be custom built in commemoration of the Elvis 30th Anniversary year. The bikes are expected to be completed by summer and purchasers will be invited to participate in a special ceremony at Graceland in August. Further details to come on Elvis.com.

Engineers of the Harley Davidson factory are close to place the finishing touch on the "Elvis Bike". The new motorcycle, with an estimated price tag of 50.000 $US and limited to 30 worldwide, will officially be presented on April 21st in Memphis, in the new Harley Davidson Shop at Elvis Presley Plaza (across Graceland). To celebrate the new "Elvis Bike", Harley Davidson invites visitors to the "Rock 'n' Roll Ride" on April 21st and 22nd in Memphis. Graceland and Harley Davidson have also joined joined forces to produce a new, combined logo for a series of souvenirs. And finally, there's a new website is in the making for the Harley bike: www.gracelandharleydavidson.com
